Please follow these instructions to set up your Bzigo Iris, your smart door mosquito guardian.

Guide Step 1: Placement in the Room
Place your Bzigo Iris in a corner away from busy areas where people or objects might block its view

For best results, place your Bzigo Iris about 60 inches (150 cm) from the ceiling and ensure it is aimed directly at the center of the ceiling.

You can use the tripod to place your Bzigo Iris on a flat surface or use the wall mount adapter to hang it on a wall.

Step 2: Plugging in Power
Connect the included power adapter to your Bzigo Iris device and a power socket in the room.

Step 3: Pairing Bzigo Iris With Your Smartphone
Scan with your smartphone the following QR code to download the Bzigo App.

The code is also located on your Bzigo Iris box, on the App Store and Google Play.
Follow the app instructions to connect the Bzigo Iris to your smartphone.

Step 4: You are Ready!
Bzigo Iris is now ready to detect mosquitoes, mark them with a laser beam, and send alerts to your preferred smartphones.

Step 5: Connecting Multiple Smartphones to the Same Device
Simply repeat step 3 on each smartphone you wish to connect.

To achieve optimal results with your Bzigo Iris, it’s essential to diligently follow the setup instructions provided to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, for best performance, it’s recommended to position the device in an area with minimal foot traffic. Avoid placing it in front of mirrors or directly facing windows.

Please ensure that all of the following steps are properly completed:

• Check that the plastic protector covering the front of the device has been fully removed.
• Double-check that you are using the provided electricity connector and that it is properly connected to the back of the device.
  Additionally, double-check that the socket you have plugged the device into is functioning properly.
• Make sure that your device is correctly placed according to the instructions in the quick guide manual in the package.

• Check that the device is connected to your Wi-Fi network. The side LED indicator of your Bzigo Iris should be indicating that by showing a green light. If the LED is tilting or red, ensure you are close enough to the Wi-Fi router.
• Make sure that the device has been successfully paired with your smartphone, and that the Bzigo Iris and Bzigo App are both not set to silent mode, which may be the reason that you are not getting alerts.

No, there is no need to reinstall. Consider changing its name in the mobile app so you’ll know which Bzigo Iris is in which room.

In the mobile app, enable sound, and you will hear a “Buzz Buzz” alert when the Bzigo Iris detects a mosquito.

Yes, through the mobile app. Go to the menu on the top and select your choice.

You can connect as many Bzigo Iris devices as you want with your Smartphone.

To avoid damaging your Bzigo iris device, accessories, or any connected devices, and to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, property damage, or other potential hazards, follow the precautions below and those found at bzigo.com:

• Please exercise due care and caution in handling your Bzigo Iris device. Avoid engaging in actions that may lead to damage, including but not limited to disassembly, dropping, bending, burning, crushing, or puncturing of the device.
  Be sure the power adapter and Bzigo Iris are well-ventilated when in use.
• Using a damaged Bzigo Iris, damaged cables, or power adapter, may cause overheating, fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to your Bzigo Iris or other property. Do not expose your Bzigo Iris to liquids, which can cause a short circuit and overheating. If the Bzigo Iris gets wet, do not attempt to dry it using an external heat source. Do not use your device when wet or in direct sunlight.
• Your Bzigo Iris is designed to work best in ambient temperatures between 32 °F and 104 °F (0 °C and 40 °C) and should be stored between ambient temperatures of -4 °F and 140 °F (-20 °C and 60 °C). Do not expose Bzigo Iris to temperatures above 140 °F (60 °C) as this may damage the device or pose a risk of fire.
• This Bzigo Iris must be used with a certified PS1 classified output per IEC 62368-1, rated: 12 Volts DC, maximum 2.0 Amp. Only power this Bzigo Iris with the included power adapter. Failure to use the included power adapter in your Bzigo Iris kit can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the Bzigo Iris.

Strangulation Hazard
This device is not a toy. Children have strangled on cords. Keep cords out of the reach of children (more than 3 feet / 0.9 meters away).

Disposal & Recycling
Dispose of and transport your device and accessories according to local environmental and transportation regulations. Do not dispose of them in normal household waste.

Child Safety
Your Bzigo Iris is not a toy. It contains (or comes with) small parts, plastic elements, cables, and parts with sharp edges that may cause an injury or create a choking or strangulation hazard. Keep your Bzigo Iris and its accessories out of the reach of small children. They could hurt themselves or others, or could accidentally damage Bzigo Iris. Consult a physician immediately if small parts are swallowed.

Proper Handling and Usage
Care and Cleaning
Unplug your Bzigo Iris and power adapter before cleaning. Use a clean, soft, and dry cloth to clean your Bzigo Iris and power adapter. Do not use any chemical detergent, powder, or other chemical agents (such as alcohol or benzene) to clean your Bzigo Iris or power adapter. The device and power adapter are not water-resistant and should not be exposed to liquids.

Bzigo Iris equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 7.9 in / 20 cm from all persons.

The Bzigo Electric Mosquito Swatter is a rechargeable device designed to help you quickly eliminate mosquitoes in your room. It features a retractable handle designed to quickly and effectively reach and eliminate mosquitoes in your room.

Charging Instructions
Charge your swatter for at least 3 hours before your first use. This will fully charge the battery, extend its lifespan, and enhance its mosquito-killing effectiveness.

Usage Instructions

• Hold the swatter by the telescopic handle. Extend it to your desired height by simultaneously pressing the two side buttons (A, B).
• Adjust the swatter’s head to the required angle by pressing the button closest to the head. (C).
• Turn on the power switch (D).
• Press and hold the zap button (E) (the zap light indicator will illuminate), while moving the swatter close to the mosquito for a few seconds until it’s eliminated.
• Turn off the power switch (D).

Warning

• Do NOT use in areas where flammable or explosive materials may be present.
• Do NOT use while charging the unit. The metal mesh surface carries high voltage when in use.
• Do NOT touch it directly or with any metal objects. There may be residual voltage sustained in the metal mesh for a short time after switching the power off.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• This is NOT a toy and should not be treated as one.
• When not in use, keep the POWER switched OFF.
• Do NOT rinse with water or wipe it with a wet towel. Store in a dry place.

At Bzigo, we prioritize environmental issues, and as such, we have designed a swatter that is rechargeable. However, when you decide to dispose of the swatter, we kindly ask that you also dispose of the battery of the Bzigo Electric Swatter according to the regulations in your region.

It’s essential to handle battery disposal responsibly to minimize environmental harm.

Lithium-ion batteries and devices containing these batteries should NOT go in household garbage or recycling bins. Instead, they SHOULD be taken to separate recycling or household hazardous waste collection points.

To make recycling easier, there’s a network of dedicated battery collection points established globally. These collection points provide you with easy access to recycling boxes where you can deposit your used batteries for proper collection and recycling.

To find your nearest battery recycling collection point, various resources are available online. You can visit recycling websites specific to your region or use services provided by local authorities and environmental organizations. Simply enter your location into the battery recycling point locator tool to find the closest collection point near you.

To prevent fires, tape battery terminals and/or place lithium-ion batteries in separate plastic bags.

Together, by responsibly recycling batteries, we can all contribute to preserving our environment for future generations.

Scan the QR code in your Bzigo Iris box, and download the Bzigo Iris app. Follow the app instructions to pair your smartphone with your Bzigo Iris.

You can connect as many Bzigo Iris devices as you want with your Smartphone. Your Bzigo App will show the different devices on separate sections and notify where specifically there are mosquitoes’ detections.

In order to set the alerts that you wish to receive, go to the menu in your Bzigo Iris app and select your preferred choice.

Please go to your Bzigo Iris app and make sure that you have the correct settings to receive alerts on your smartphone.
